General contract and booking conditions – online booking 

 

Norwegian Travel Group AS is not a travel agency, but an online distributor of a wide range of tourism products in Telemark/Norway. Please note that reservations that include more than one product will be covered by the Norwegian Package Travel Act. And if there should be disagreements between our terms and conditions and the Package Travel Act, it is the law that forms the basis.

Booking conditions
These general terms and conditions apply between Norwegian Travel Group AS and others who enter into an agreement with Norwegian Travel Group AS in accordance with the confirmation (the guest). The agreement may apply to accommodation, travel, purchase of other products, services or a combination of these.

 

ORDERING AND CUSTOMER'S OBLIGATIONS
It is possible to handle online orders up to 9 people in one and the same order. You can book online right up to departure/arrival. Payment with a valid payment card at the same time when booking. Your booking is confirmed and binding when you receive confirmation by e-mail with your booking number. We recommend all our customers to print out the confirmation and take it with them on their trip.

As a customer, you are obligated:

  • You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking through Norwegian Travel Group AS.
  • Warrant that all information about you and your travel companions is true and accurate.
  • Norwegian Travel Group AS must not be used for speculative, false or dishonest bookings.
  • To collect information about attendance times when travelling.
  • Check that tickets and confirmations are in accordance with the booking immediately upon receipt of confirmation.
  • Are obliged to bring valid identification/passport, possibly visa.
  • Comply with the rules of conduct given by product owners/suppliers/partners.
  • Not to be a nuisance to other travellers/participants.
  • Not to damage the property of the product owner/supplier/partner – may be liable for damages

Org no: mva 991 875 794 is responsible for all transactions that go through the website. Our partner PayEX is responsible for ensuring that credit card numbers and codes are handled in accordance with the requirements defined in the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

 

Our subcontractors
We are responsible for ensuring that our subcontractors are paid for what you have ordered through us. Our subcontractors are each responsible for their own part of their program, including complete insurance, permits, equipment, staffing and other things, which are in accordance with the laws and regulations applicable to the supplier at any given time.

 

The agreement and more:
As a seller, Norwegian Travel Group AS is responsible to the guest for what he or she is entitled to according to the agreement. The responsibility for the tasks that are to be carried out by parties other than Norwegian Travel Group AS is the responsibility of the suppliers themselves.

 

As an organizer, Norwegian Travel Group AS has a duty to ensure the following:
Electronic confirmation of booking will be sent to the guest/customer/passenger along with other required documents.

Norwegian Travel Group AS is only responsible for the reservation as described. All customer data is stored in accordance with Norwegian law and no personal data will be sold on to a third party.

 

Binding booking:
A booking is binding as soon as a booking number is assigned to the guest and payment is completed. It is the guest's responsibility to check that the arrival and departure dates and that everything else that is essential to the booking is correct.

 

Payment:
The traveler must pay 100% for the event/trip/stay when booking via Norwegian Travel Group AS. The traveller must bring the confirmation with them on arrival/departure.

 

CANCELLATION:
The traveller can cancel to Telemarkskanalen Booking AS. Norwegian Travel Group AS and suppliers of events only accept cancellations and changes made by the traveler. Norwegian Travel Group AS is obliged to send confirmation of cancellation/change electronically.

If cancelled 7 days or more before departure, the full amount will be refunded, minus a cancellation fee of 10% NOK.
If cancellation is made less than 7 days before departure, the amount will not be refunded.
Change is always a cancellation and new booking for all types of bookings.

The price of the ordered product may vary continuously and the price may be different from the previous order.

 

What if something goes wrong?
Any errors/deficiencies must be reported to the place immediately so that the place has the opportunity to correct the matter there and then. If you have neglected to seek redress during the travel period and thus avoided giving the place the opportunity to rectify any deficiencies, you cannot subsequently claim compensation.

In the event of a disagreement between the product and the orderer regarding quality, errors or defects that may have arisen before or during the stay, Norwegian Travel Group AS as an intermediary will not be a party to such a case.

 

Force Majeure / Reservations
Norwegian Travel Group AS is not responsible for unsatisfactory weather conditions, closed facilities or other conditions that are beyond the company's control. Should any errors occur, Norwegian Travel Group AS has the full right to cancel the booking.
