You arrive in the valley and enjoy a 3-course dinner before spending the night in your chosen room type. The next morning there is breakfast on board the canal boat from Dalen to Lårdal. On the trip you will get a packed lunch and drinks (remember to pack extra water)

Day 1: Arrival at Dalen Hotel, check-in from 15:00. Enjoy the evening's 3-course dinner in the restaurant and relax in front of the fireplace in preparation for tomorrow's trip.
Day 2: Remember to bring a packed lunch and water from the reception before departure

*Wednesday, Friday and Sunday M/S Victoria departs 08:00, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday M/S Henrik Ibsen departs 08:50.

The trip is about 14 kilometers long and is best suited for the well-trained/experienced hikers. Recommended hiking time is 6-8 hours and you are back at Dalen around 17:00/18:00*. *NB, the trip ends above the slopes down to Dalen, from here it is about 3 km (300 altitude meters) of hiking along the road downhill. Feel free to ask us if you want tips on transport down from here.

Once down, it's probably home, but if you want an extra night at the hotel, you are most welcome. Contact us directly to add the extra night.
