The stretch includes Vrangfoss, which is the largest lock in the Telemark Canal with a lifting height of as much as 23 metres.

Guided tour:
When you get off the bus at Ulefoss locks, follow the road towards the parking lot, and follow the pavement further towards the center of Ulefoss. It takes about 10 minutes to walk. You can choose to walk to Øvre Verket yourself, or take the car. The tour takes approximately 30 minutes. Ulefoss is described as Norway's oldest industrial town and on the tour you will hear about what it was like for a worker at Ulefoss Jernværk to live here. Øvre Verket is a collection of protected workers' housing that offers a gift shop, exhibitions and local crafts.
